What is IPL?
IPL technology typically refers to Intense Pulsed Light, a non-laser light-based treatment used in cosmetic and dermatological procedures.
In the hair removal method, that targets the melanin (pigment) inside the hair to interrupt the hair growth cycle and prevent hair regrowth, without damaging the skin.
Just as safe, just as effective as the salon!
How IPL works?
1/. The light energy is transferred through the skin’s surface and is absorbed by the melanin present in the hair shaft.
2/. The absorbed light is converted to heat, which disables the hair follicle preventing further growth.
3/. Treated hairs naturally fall out over a period that can vary from a few days to a few weeks depending on the individual.
4/. Repeat every week for 12 weeks to catch each hair during its growth phase

IPL vs. Laser
·Both IPL and laser use light to heat the hair follicle, however the main difference between them is the type of light used:
·IPL: Uses broad-spectrum light (multiple wavelengths), IPL is often less expensive and more versatile.
·Laser: Uses a single, focused wavelength for deeper precision, while lasers are more targeted.
·The light beam used in laser therapy is very concentrated, so it has a very small treatment window.
·IPL uses a wider spectrum of flashes, so IPL devices have a larger treatment window and can cover a larger area at once, resulting in faster treatment times.
·A full treatment for silky skin takes 12 weeks, while a laser takes more than 6 months!
